Farai Razano is a senior associate at ENS (Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs). He currently practises as an attorney in the employment law department and has experience in employment law and dispute resolution in the sports sector.
He has acted for major football clubs before various tribunals in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), the South African Football Association (SAFA) and the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) on issues including: the local and international transfer of footballers, disputes between clubs, and disputes between clubs and the PSL, employment disputes between clubs and their employees such as dismissals, retrenchments and unfair labour practices. He has also assisted as a committee member of the SAFA National Disciplinary Committee on a pro bono basis, dealing with matters relating to misconduct by football clubs and footballers, coaches and other club officials. Farai has also advised major football clubs and other companies on various immigration matters, including applying for temporary and permanent residence permits.
