Insurance Regulatory Environment:  The financial services industry is becoming increasingly regulated and ENS has extensive experience and expertise in advising on legislation and in interacting with regulators.  We offer advice on all aspects of insurance regulation including the Long-Term Insurance Act, the Short Term Insurance Act, the Policyholder Protection Rules as well as other relevant ancillary legislation such as the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and Proceeds of Crime Act insofar as they relate to the activities of underwriters, brokers, advisers and other intermediaries and policyholders.

Coverage Opinions And Dispute Resolution:  Our team advises on coverage opinions on all forms of liability and indemnity insurance as well as providing guidance to clients on strategic management of coverage issues.  We also cover both contentious and non-contentious aspects of insurance law and will act for clients in all manners of alternative dispute resolution in a cost-effective manner.
